Are your employees unable to manage or leverage organizational knowledge effectively and efficiently during the pandemic? Maybe it is the pace of work or the fact that employees are now working form home. Carleton University, Sprott School of Business, Professional MBA students will work in groups to analyze your organization's knowledge management challenge(s ) and provide recommendations . Students will work with you to apply the full range of their collective ideas and expertise through online means.

The company will present their organizational challenge(s) to the class. The company will also contribute by providing grading feedback.

This course is an intensive one week offering with two all-day classroom sessions and time devoted to group work on the client project. Project introductions will take place on Friday November 27th and the final recommendations will be presented to the client through video recordings and group papers.

Project Examples

Determine ways to increase knowledge sharing in the organization

Identify impacts on organizational effectiveness from limits in knowledge sharing within the organization

Provide recommendations to improve management of knowledge in the organization

Identifies risks, challenges and opportunities with increasing knowledge access in the organization

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

The class and company will work together to create a no-compete clause

Watch student group presentation videos, provide feedback on presentations and final reports . Feedback and grade recommendations have to be submitted to the educator by Noon December 7th.

Visit virtual classroom Nov 27th to present company background and problem/s or opportunities to be addressed in project. Also answering student questions.

Provide a dedicated contact who is available to answer communications from instructors and students Friday November 27th and Saturday November 28th and over the duration of the project.

Be available for a Zoom meeting with the instructor to initiate the project and confirm your company challenge is an appropriate fit for the course.
