Fifteen Carleton University Sprott School of Business students will collectively analyze a pandemic-related challenge and/or opportunity. Students will work with you to apply the full range of their collective knowledge and ideas through online means to help your organization.
The company will present their organizational challenge to the class. Student will work in groups or individually on a pandemic-related problem confronting your organization, or to capitalize on an opportunity. Students will collaborate using theory and work experience to generate ideas which they will present to your organization in a report and presentation or video. You will act as a judge to choose the best ideas and the winning individual or team.
- TAnalysis of business continuity looking at new directions in your production, supply chains and marketing
- Creative approaches to finding new markets for your existing products and/or services, or changes to production to tap into emerging markets
- Exploring big picture trends that can be expected to influence consumer behaviour and thus your marketing

Project Examples
Example projects include, but are not limited to:
- Developing a plan in the face of the pandemic.
- Creating a diversification plan during the pandemic.
- Investigating and recommending a product or service expansion opportunity.
- External analysis of industry structure, competitive forces, and economic impacts due to the pandemic.
Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:
Be available for a quick phone call with the instructor to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the course.
Provide a dedicated contact who is available to answer once-weekly emails or phone calls from students over the duration of the project
Visit virtual classroom in first or second week of course to present high level input on company background and problem/s to be addressed by project.
Attend final virtual class to watch, critique and evaluate student presentations
