Details

A team of students will act as consultants to your organization on a challenge of your choosing!

Will serve as external consultant who help clients find possibilities and solutions to a range of business problems ranging from general to strategic management

Deliverables

- Work constructively with client as a professional helper and advisor.

- Will produce a professional proposal addressing all relevant issues.

- Will produce a final report setting out rationale, choices and justification.

- Will collect data and evidence to support or justify a business proposal

Project Examples

In this assignment, students will dive deep into a particular challenge or opportunity that you provide. They’ll work with a contact from your organization to gain a thorough understanding of the needs of your business and (if applicable) the competitive landscape of your industry.

As a participating organization, you’ll be asked to provide a particular question, topic or challenge that will be their area of focus. Their review and recommendations may encompass other areas as well, but they’ll provide specific recommendations to address your chosen topic.

Examples could include, but are not limited to:

  • How can we reduce our costs of production?
  • How can we improve our supply chain processes to be more responsiveness to changes in demand?
  • How can we introduce quality assurance into our internal processes?
  • What technologies should we be leveraging for internal communication?
  • What could be changed in our recruitment practices to attract the types of candidates we’re looking for?
  • Does our digital marketing strategy communicate our brand ef
  • How to explore and grow organically and via planned actions.
  • This list is not exhaustive and open to man possibilities
Additional company criteria

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Give constructive guidance and briefings on the project

Give constructive and timely feedback on project development, progress and completion.

Provide a dedicated contact who is available to answer periodic emails or phone calls over the duration of the project to address students' questions.

Be available for a quick phone call with the instructor to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the course.
