Project Examples
A class of student-consultants working in groups of 5 will address an organizational HR challenge.
Based on your goals and the information you provide, groups will collaborate to investigate, identify opportunities, and develop an action plan that addresses your Equity, Diversity and Inclusion challenge.
Project activities that students can complete may include, but are not limited to:
- Designing/redesigning an internal system, or process, or policy, or plan related to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion within the employee life cycle - talent acquisition, on-boarding, training, employee engagement, change management, privacy, human rights, employee discipline, or work/life balance.
Additional company criteria
Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:
In order to effectively manage the project, it is important for the client to communicate with students during various stages of the project - start, middle and end. A representative of the company will be available to answer questions from students in a timely manner for the duration of the project.
A representative of the company will be available for a pre-selection discussion with the administrator of the course to review the project scope.
Provide an opportunity for students to present their work and receive feedback. The plan is to provide each client with reports from 2 to 4 groups of 5 students each, and the ask is for the client to provide feedback on the report within one week of receiving it.
Provide relevant information about the client and data as needed for the project.
