Learners receive advanced training in a number of complex functions within the marketing field, including applying principles of business and financial analysis, using synthesizing and evaluation skills to support a variety of management functions, and developing management skills for cutting edge marketing techniques.
Based on your organizational goals, student teams will develop a marketing campaign along with its promotion, pricing and distribution plans to support the marketing activities of your organization.
Open roles can reflect but are not limited to:
- Advertising management
- Product campaign management
- Communications management
- Fundraising management
- Media and public relations management
- Sales management
- Social media and web communications management
Learners
Deliverables are negotiable, and will seek to align the needs of the learners and the organization.
Some final project deliverables might include:
- A 10-15 minute presentation on key findings and recommendations
- A detailed report including their research, analysis, insights and recommendations

Requirements
Learners in groups of 3-4 will work with your company to identify your needs and provide actionable recommendations, based on their in-depth research and analysis.
Project activities that learners can complete may include, but are not limited to:
- Establishing communications objectives, plans and budgets
- Completing a marketing strategy review
- Developing a market plan for businesses
- Creating a rebranding campaign for an existing product
- Monitoring, evaluating and measuring the effectiveness of a promotional program
- Creating an integrated marketing campaign for a new product or service
- Analyzing the competitive landscape for promotion planning
- Creating a social media or new media campaign to complement existing marketing communications
- Establishing communications objectives, plans and budgets
