The primary focus of the student will be: Assist in developing marketing communication campaigns to promote books and virtual literacy endeavors Drafting social media and email content as needed Outreach to schools, libraries, bookshops, and community organizations to promote literacy efforts and host virtual literacy events Operations - Recommend process improvements or redesign processes; develop improvements to supply chain processes to be more responsive to changes in demand; introduce quality assurance into our internal processes; redesign incentive structures to improve engagement. The objective of this project is to design and develop a small-scale, cost-effective VTOL drone equipped with a flight controller and a fire detection system using machine learning (ML). The drone should be designed with modularity in mind, allowing for future sensor and component upgrades. Given budget constraints, the project will focus on using standard cameras and ML-based fire detection instead of expensive thermal cameras. Students will be responsible for developing the drone’s software, integrating sensors, and implementing the ML-based fire detection system while ensuring the design is scalable for larger applications.

This includes: Completing Front-End Functionality:  Implementing remaining UI/UX elements and user flows within FlutterFlow, ensuring a seamless and engaging mobile experience as designed in Figma. Developing Custom Logic:  Writing and integrating custom Dart functions within FlutterFlow to enhance application capabilities and meet specific functional requirements. Firebase Integration:  Ensuring robust and efficient integration with Firebase for data storage, user authentication, and other backend services. Debugging & Optimization:  Identifying and resolving any existing bugs or performance issues to ensure a smooth, stable, and responsive application.
