This platform will serve as a digital space where women's stories and organizations are represented through pins on a map. Each pin will provide a unique narrative or information about an organization, allowing users to engage with the content by clicking on the pins to read the stories or learn about the organizations.
The website will need to feature a submission form, enabling users to contribute their own stories or organizational information, with a confidentiality agreement to ensure privacy. The platform is designed to be self-sustaining, automatically uploading new submissions to the map without requiring third-party intervention.
This project aims to inspire women to share their stories, foster a sense of community, and provide resources for support and empowerment.
The deliverables for this project include:
- A fully functional interactive map-based website that allows users to explore stories and organizations through clickable pins.
- Additionally, the website will feature a user-friendly submission form with a confidentiality agreement, enabling seamless story and organization submissions.
- The final deliverable will be a self-sustaining platform that automatically updates with new submissions, ensuring ongoing engagement and relevance.
Scheduled check-ins to discuss progress, address challenges, and provide feedback.

About the company
Fueled by concerns about the effects of HIV/AIDS on the lives of their children, two California mothers were inspired to create a non-profit organization, the Until There’s A Cure® Foundation, in 1993.
The Foundation was the first non-profit organization to create and sell a bracelet to raise funds for a cause. What distinguishes our Foundation from others seeking to help those affected by HIV/AIDS is that our primary source of financing for this effort is The Bracelet. Several of our bracelets provide a market for HIV+ craftspeople and support AIDS care and prevention in the developing world.
For 40 years of the HIV/AIDS fight we have battled hysteria, ignorance and now the worst of all complacency. Today we are asking for YOUR help with empowering, embracing, and educating others about HIV/AIDS.
