By utilizing the entire grain (the hull and bran), we are helping to sustain the earth. Warehouse Optimization
RIBUS is a food ingredient manufacturer that has utilized third-party contract manufacturers and warehouses for 30 years. We will soon open our own production facility and are evaluating all contracts to ensure that our business is set up as efficiently as possible. We believe that with the help of technology and relying on our partner's strengths, we could (re)design a more efficient process for our customers to receive our products. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Analyzing our current warehouse's capabilities Researching other midwestern warehouses for alternate options Identifying how software could be used for more efficiency (ex: scanner guns, communicating with Sage X3 ERP) Creating a comparison chart and recommendation based on your research, showcasing warehouse options, their strengths and offerings Sharing the "gold standards" as well as new and emerging technology or service offerings that will become the "gold standards" in the future
Corporate Culture Enhancement Project for RIBUS, Inc.
The main goal for the project is to analyze the structure of RIBUS, Inc. and identify ways to build a better corporate culture for a mix of in person and remote workers in a company experiencing growth. The project also aims to find ways to motivate and celebrate success while managing heavy workloads and tight deadlines.
Literature Refresh for Food Ingredient Company
Our company offers clean-label, plant-based products for the food and dietary supplement industries. While we only have 8 products, we are struggling with how to add our newest products in a fresh new way. That's why we're looking for some fresh eyes (and creativity) to revamp our traditional brochures and literature used at tradeshows around the world and used by our sales team. Most of our leads come from Google, but tradeshows are our second largest opportunity to bring people into our sales funnel, and we need a refresh. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our current branding, marketing goals and strategies. Researching how customers perceive our brand and marketing. Recommending new visual layouts and options for promotion. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Recommending updates to our messaging that can better explain our value proposition. Recommending additional marketing pieces that can add value.
