Data Visualisation Internship Opportunity

Project description : Powertrust is developing a suite of dashboards to visualise the data from our renewable energy projects. The dashboards will reflect both technical and commercial information. Data Description: The data will be primarily electricity meter data. This will be supplemented by commercial contract information as well as industry guidelines around impact metrics.

Virtual Internship Opportunity: Carbon Accounting

Number of individual students required: 1 The primary focus for the student will be: Undertaking an overview of emerging carbon accounting standards and associated issues. For example: Compiling a list of call relevant regulatory bodies and stakeholders Providing an overview and analysis of carbon accounting frameworks and associated concepts (e.g. net zero) Analysis of the interaction between government (regulated) and private sector (voluntary) initiatives. Our goal at the end of this experience is: Compile a report covering all the primary focus activities listed above. Set of recommendations for how PCP can capitalize on any identified business opportunties Presentation to company staff and other stakeholders on findings. For example: Analysis of the price of energy and/or carbon in various markets. Analysing investment models for energy projects Estimating the value of non-market attributes such as sustainable development goals Business model development and price setting exercises.
