Currently under restrictions related to the pandemic, travel is not possible, but in a post-covid world a means of experiencing a partner organization in an immersive fashion would be desirable.The second objective is to allow students who are dealing with the restrictions related to covid have an enriched educational experience while maintaining their safety and the safety of others. Red River College students should be able to work with their classmates in an interactive fashion, and have an enhanced experience where the camaraderie and friendships that form as part of the College experience can still be experienced by students. Something as simple as whiteboarding to brainstorm a solution is easy when in person, but is a daunting challenge to replicate in remote. This project and its phases will produce a solution that will be developed to allow students to interact with the Red River College campus in Virtual Reality (VR).
