Position available: 1 PR Specialist We're on a mission to empower Asians to tell their stories and find love. We're looking for a PR Specialist to help us gain exposure in media outlets and build brand awareness with the goal of growing our user base before our official release. Alike's beta was released in December, 2020 and had over 700 downloads in a week. We are currently molding the app based on user feedback and expect to officially release the app in June, 2021. You will be working with the marketing team and reporting directly to the CEO. Responsibilities : Reach out to media outlets (major and local news outlets, podcasts) to gain coverage for Alike, the app and the mission Write and prepare PR press kits Pitch, write and submit opinion pieces to publications Research for interested and relevant content, outlets, writers, influencers and content creators and initiate collaborations Hit a target of 20 publications and 5 podcast appearances by the end of the project Qualification : Passion for Asian representation and the desire to help and serve the Asian community Studies Journalism, Marketing, Asian Studies, Literature or Business Excellent communication, presentation, research, writing, journalism & storytelling skills Overall professionalism - organized, efficient, great at follow-through, reliable, work independently, takes initiative Creative and great at problem-solving Hours : 10 hours per week over 8 weeks Internship opportunity : Project-based, Level-Up program

TikTok Community Manager We're on a mission to empower Asians to tell their stories and find love. We're looking for a TikTok Community Manager to create content that aligns with our vision and mission, engage the Asian community and build brand awareness for Alike. Alike's beta was released in December, 2020 and had over 700 downloads in a week. We are currently molding the app based on user feedback and expect to officially release the app in June, 2021. You will be working with the marketing team and reporting directly to the CEO. Media Producer We're on a mission to empower Asians to tell their stories and find love. We're looking for a Media Producer who will create 2 short videos which we can use to promote our brand and app on Facebook and Instagram. Alike's beta was released in December, 2020 and had over 700 downloads in a week. We are currently molding the app based on user feedback and expect to officially release the app in June, 2021. You will be working with the marketing team and reporting directly to the CEO. Responsibilities : Create 2 videos between 45 seconds to 90 seconds to be used in Facebook and Instagram ads Research the most effective video ads and what makes them sticky Meet with Marketing team to present ideas and iterate based on feedback and suggestions Qualification : Passion for Asian representation and the desire to help and serve the Asian community Studies Film, Media, Arts, or Marketing; Able to write, shoot, produce and edit Excellent communication & design Overall professionalism - organized, efficient, great at follow-through, reliable, work independently, takes initiative Creative and great at problem-solving Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere Hours : 20 hours per week over 4 weeks Position available : up to 4 Internship opportunity : Project-based, Level-Up program
