Food Donation Coordination System
FoodForRelief is a non-profit organization dedicated to alleviating hunger by coordinating food donations from local businesses and distributing them to communities in need. The current process of managing donations is manual and time-consuming, leading to inefficiencies and potential food wastage. The goal of this project is to develop a streamlined system that automates the coordination of food donations, ensuring timely collection and distribution. This project will allow learners to apply their knowledge of database management, user interface design, and process optimization. The system should be user-friendly, allowing FoodForRelief staff to easily input, track, and manage food donations. Key tasks include designing a database to store donation information, creating a web-based interface for data entry and retrieval, and developing a notification system to alert staff of new donations.
Customer Engagement Emails
Our company advertises thousands of products online. We hope to revamp our email marketing to increase engagement with our existing customers. We would like to collaborate with students to create new email campaigns. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our target market, products and services. Recommending new email campaigns and drafting emails. Considering the subject line, clarity, tone, and length of our emails. Recommending a frequency for our marketing emails. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Recommending email marketing tools.
Social Media Content Calendar Development for Food4Relief
Food4Relief aims to enhance its online presence and engage more effectively with its audience through a structured social media strategy. The organization currently lacks a cohesive plan for its social media posts, which limits its ability to connect with supporters and promote its mission effectively. The goal of this project is to develop a basic social media content calendar that aligns with Food4Relief's objectives and resonates with its target audience. By organizing content in advance, the organization can ensure consistent messaging, timely posts, and increased engagement across platforms. This project will provide learners with the opportunity to apply their knowledge of digital marketing, content creation, and strategic planning in a real-world context, while also contributing to a meaningful cause.
