Program Manager Assistant for Black History Month Saskatchewan
The goal of this project is to assist with the logistics behind the scenes leading up to a Black History Month Saskatchewan Presentation.In this project students will get experience with engaging stakeholders, performers, doing marketing research on venues and pricing with venues and vendors.They will create and coordinate Google Forms and curated and categorize responses. These forms will be for volunteer intake, performer intake, artisan and designer intake and more.

We are looking for assistance in finding and completing grant applications that support our mission and vision statement.We believe this project will include:Assist with defining a company-identified community problem and defining the scope of a corresponding project.Develop a needs statement that characterizes the community problem and justifies the need for our project and funding.Identify potential sponsors and funding opportunities that are a good fit for our organization and project.Research and interpret a request for proposal (RFP).Improve the clarity and persuasiveness of our company's grant proposal writing.Look for grants and sponsorship opportunities and partnerships.

Website UI / UX Design & Prototype
Our company would like to explore re-designing our current website with a prototype. We would like a group of students to design a new prototype web application based off of our current website’s functionality.This will involve:Conducting background research on our existing web application for the product.Identifying key areas of our current website and what areas of focused might return the best results in a redesign.Learning and using various software design tools. We strongly recommend students learn how to use Figma as this is the latest and greatest tool currently available.Creation of a screen by screen UX / UI prototype of a web application which can be used on all major browsers and be mobile friendly
Survey Creation
We are looking to develop a multiple choice survey that can be used to generate accurate data, which can be used for decision making. Using communications best practices, we would like students to develop a questionnaire that will generate usable data for decision making. We would also like for students to source options for us to conduct the survey within our target group which is Black Professionals and Entrepreneurs.Our organization would like to use this survey to better understand the supports needed for this demographics in Saskatchewan and where our nonprofit can support.

Membership Coordinator
We are looking for a membership coordinator to act as the liaison between our organization and our members. The membership coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of membership, from serving as the first point of contact for membership related questions to organizing events to recruit new members. You will also be tasked with maintaining records, tracking membership figures, and coordinating with the accounting department regarding the payment of membership fees.To be successful as a membership coordinator you should be able to keep membership numbers up and ensure member satisfaction. Ultimately, an excellent membership coordinator should be an outstanding communicator with a talent for building strong relationships between members and the organization.
