TC Engagement Plan Development
Here at TC Premedia, we pride ourselves in our people and building a solid workforce. We have made great strides in engaging with our employees who work within the office through regular communications throughout the building via TV's and email blasts, social events that vary from bringing food trucks onsite, BBQs, Popcorn days, and Holiday parties. However, we feel that we can do more to engage with our offsite employees to ensure they are as happy and feel as supported as their onsite counterparts. We would like you to analyze the current degree of engagement with our employees and develop strategies to increase the engagement level across the business unit

We would like you to analyze the current degree of engagement with our employees and develop strategies to increase the engagement level across the business unit. To accomplish this, we believe you should focus on: The involvement of employees in engagement Level of management and employees towards their work the level of satisfaction employees experience that leads to employee retention Determining how our engagement practices are perceived by current and new employees. Analyzing industry benchmarks around engagement. Brainstorming creative, effective, and cost-conscious engagement practices that we could incorporate. Providing recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of our engagement practices. You will be provided access to a member of our HR team, who will provide insights and facilitate employee interviews, surveys, and observation, as necessary. We hope to improve our current engagement practices by exciting our offsite employees and improving the overall employee experience. The final project deliverables will include: A 10-page report detailing your research and findings on our existing engagement practices and with recommended improvements. A 15-minute presentation or video reviewing your insights and recommendations.

Social media is a newer piece to the marketing puzzle. Our team acknowledges the fundamental part social media plays in creating brand loyalty and engaging our past, present and future consumer. That said, it is an untapped or underserved marketing effort for our organization. We need help looking at the best uses for social media to engage our target market. ADD + SUB It would be extremely beneficial to have a group of students look at our present social media activity/presence, evaluate it for strengths and weaknesses, and create strategic recommendations for improvement. We want to branch into other areas of social media but don’t know where to start. Recommendations should include possible approaches to Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, etc. to help us determine where our time, money and resources are best spent. Looking at our target market, we would like recommendations on the best social media channels to use given our available resources. Students can leverage available insights into our current consumers to assist in the recommendations.
