Michael brought a rare mix of curiosity, tenacity, and initiative to this project—delivering well beyond expectations. He not only implemented core backend features like Firebase Cloud Functions, Apple and Google sign-in, and OpenAI chat integration, but also independently added robust data persistency, which was a key milestone for the app. His deep dive into documentation, problem-solving with complex permissions, and commitment to writing his own technical references show maturity and foresight.
Beyond the programming work he was easy to work with, great at explaining what he did, he communicated well by email and attended all meetings. His flexibility and ability to work independently were especially valuable in the context of a non-traditional company structure. He adapted quickly, took initiative, and contributed meaningfully without needing constant direction—an asset in a dynamic and evolving environment.

https://pokeportfolio.capokeportfolio is a recent large scale adventure of mine that I hope to finish before September! I am working on a project on my own from scratch using reactjs and nodejs to build an awesome looking webpage that lets Pokemon card collectors add their personal collections and create easy to share one click links with others in order to easily show off their beautiful collections! The advanced side of the page shows crazy depth of data analytics with the most accurate pricing of pokemon cards, to exist on the known market as of today.
