Positions available: up to 200 total students, working in groups of 12We would like students to write and publish books. For phase 2 of this initiative, students will focus on history topics.To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:work with team pod of students to help write two books, one book each weekwrite 2200 to 4000 words each week and edit other team (pod) members work on collective documentupload documents for publication as books onto research siteskeep with schedule and work as book writing teamThis project will be ongoing over 8 weeks, with different books being produced in each two-week segment. There will be 4 project postings on Riipen that students will apply for. Each phase will run for two weeks.

PROJECT SCOPEThe number of positions available: 5We would like students to help us with the localization of some of our content from English to French so we are able to reach a larger audience and share our content and tools with the audience from these countries, allowing them to take part in our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:Be able to read/write in French (Native level) Have an understanding of content creationBasic SEO knowledge with an understanding of the use of keywords Be able to spend a minimum of 10 hours per week on the projectThe content would all be focused on health and wellbeing with subjects such as pilates, yoga, meditation, stress management, breathing, hydration, and mindfulness. Our organization wants to create 20 (30-60 second) video clips to use on social media to spotlight past speakers. We would like to collaborate with students to help us tell a compelling story through these short videos. They will be clipped from past Zoom footage.
Media Partnership Coordinator
We are looking for students to create press releases and lead the development of media partnership proposals and pitch to clients. Community Event Organizer
We are looking for a student who can assist with event planning for our community events initiative starting this July. The student will be in contact with our Communications Director to help plan and organize community events in Ottawa, Toronto, and surrounding areas. The student will be creating a calendar for 6 months of community events for major cities in Ontario, Nova Scotia, and Alberta. We are open to all suggestions and encourage students to be creative!
