The main goal for the project is to create visually appealing designs for various marketing materials utilizing the Canada Black Music Archives branding. This will involve several different steps for the students, including:- Researching the Canada Black Music Archives branding and understanding its visual identity and target audience.- Creating designs for marketing materials such as social media graphics, posters, flyers, and digital banners.- Collaborating with the Word Media Group Inc. team to ensure the designs align with the organization's goals and objectives.- Incorporating feedback and making revisions to the designs as needed.

Social Media Video Content Creation for Canada Black Music Archives

The main goal for the project is to create original, engaging and informative social media video content that highlights Black Canadian musicians and promotes the Canada Black Music Archives. The content should be visually appealing and shareable to attract a wider audience to the CBMA.This will involve several different steps for the students, including:- Developing creative concepts and storyboards for the social media video content.- Filming and editing the video content to ensure high quality and engaging visuals.- Collaborating with the Word Media Group Inc. team to align the content with the mission and goals of the Canada Black Music Archives.- Incorporating feedback and making necessary revisions to the video content.

Fundraising Plan

Our organization is committed to serving our target population. However, we are currently facing funding challenges.We would like to collaborate with students to develop a fundraising plan to meet our goals.This will involve several different steps for the students, including:Familiarizing themselves with our mission, values and goals.Familiarizing themselves with our past fundraising activities and donors.Conducting background research on fundraising strategies.Recommending suitable fundraising strategies and creating a timeline / calendar of these activities.Bonus steps in the process would also include:Assisting in implementing new fundraising activities.

Canada Black Music Archives Content Researcher

The main goal for the project is to research, identify, create, and post photo, audio, and video web content for the Canada Black Music Archives. This includes researching the historic accomplishments of Black Canadian musicians and their contributions to the Canadian music canon. The content identified should be engaging, informative, and respectful of the artists' legacies.
