Digital Fashion Marketplace UX/UI Web and App Development Design
Positions available: 3 We are now looking to develop phases 2 and 3 of our mobile application where new features and experiences are adding to the mobile application along with a brand new web presence. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software and wireframe tools. If you also have a portfolio of completed projects that includes work with web/mobile applications, we'd like to meet you. GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.Portfolio of design projects. Knowledge of wireframe tools. Front-end development languages (CSS, Javacript, HTML/DHTML)Modern JS Framework (React, Angular and/or Vue) knowledge is an assets. Willing to learn and adopt new design concepts and development languages. For back end work, SQL programming is an asset. Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and PhotoshopTeam spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders. Good time-management skills. Successful completion of a post-secondary education program in Design, Computer Science or another relevant field. FUNCTIONS OF ROLE: Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with Information Systems and business leaders. Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemapsDesign graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets.Build page navigation buttons and search fields. Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like.Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback. Positions available: 2 As ÀLA.HAUSSE is launching this summer in Toronto and CA market and US later this year. Our goal is to be recognized in our community and nationally for the work that we are doing and the impact we are looking to bring to fashion sustainability. We have a great story to tell but it needs to be picked up by the targetted media outlets. It will be extremely helpful to receive creative and quality help from students in PR area to help strengthen this recognition for the organization. Students should be prepared to: Help us refine our current press kit and press room details Write up press releases around multiple news-worthy stories Identify media outlets that are most beneficial to us/most likely to pick the story up. Send press releases and establish a positive rapport with media contacts Outreach, Build Media Pipeline and Secure media exposure for our organization.
