Graphic Designer - UN Climate Change Conference
We want students to help us create beautiful and engaging graphic design assets for a few public relation campaigns and areas likes social media, our website, and print material. The graphic design will revolve around event-based purposes, e.g. event website, brochures, posters, etc. Our target is to to build a healthy base of graphic design content to be used throughout the conference. In this position I was responsible for responding to complaints filed pertaining to the City of Brantford's Lot Maintenance and Waste Bylaw. I also took on activities beyond the purview of my role, including administrative duties such as the drafting of letters and orders, and legislative duties including the establishment of set fines for the City's Public Nuisance Bylaw. In doing so, I researched other municipal Bylaw departments to ascertain appropriate amounts, and collaborated with the City Solicitor in getting the set fines approved by the Regional Justice of Central/Western Ontario.
