The students were very enthusiastic and asked good probing questions. The only negative point is that one of the members arrived considerably late which impacted the team and some of the preparations. We are also not able to see the report as the file seems to be unreadable.

Great program

The team was able to self-organize and contribute to cybersecurity awareness, incident response and recommendations without an expert guiding them. They produced a nice document with recommendations in a variety of areas.

My experience with this project began with some challenges due to a lack of organization. Although Riipen assigned an admin to the project, the responses to my inquiries were often automated and didn't fully address my questions. Initially, I was connected to the opportunity through a Riipen representative who provided a general overview of the project. However, as I delved deeper into the project, I found that the description was somewhat vague and didn’t clearly outline what was being offered. Connecting with the right individuals was also a struggle. When I first met with the students, they were unsure about what they were supposed to do, which caught me off guard as I had assumed they would have been briefed by their teacher prior to our meeting. Fortunately, I eventually connected with someone who was brought on at the last minute, and we were able to debrief and establish a plan of action together. I am grateful for this individual's time and understanding, as my primary goal was to support the students and avoid adding any further confusion. Moving forward, I would recommend that the organization take steps to ensure better coordination and clarity before reaching out to companies. A more organized approach would not only enhance the experience for everyone involved but also provide clearer guidance to the students participating in these projects.

I really appreciate that the program administrators handle all the administrative tasks and paperwork, allowing me to concentrate solely on the project and the student group. Everything was well-organized, and the project proceeded smoothly. Overall, I am very satisfied with the experience.

They showed a thorough understanding of the project and made significant contributions to the development of our AI models by helping to create the dataset. Additionally, they acquired valuable knowledge of the Vulnerability Management process and learned how to perform comprehensive CVE analysis.

This was a great program and an awesome resource that our company was able to take advantage of and will now will be able to implement. The only issues were around some people not being added to the riipen group correctly and communication around required project timeline.

The ICT Ignite program was incredibly helpful. I'm building out my own software and am not a programmer, and having a security foundation for the developers I am and will work with helps safeguard me against pitfalls I absolutely do not want to have.
