Sustainability Footprint Calculator Research Analyst - LEVEL UP

Positions available: 1 Working 80 hours paid by the Riipen LevelUP project We need to bring aboard a research analyst with journalistic integrity who can help us: Source Sustainability and Carbon Footprint stats to help us build a calculator within for our app. We have UI created for our sustainability footprint calculator however we are looking to have a student give us ideas (backed with statistics and mathematics) for what should be added and edited. Additionally by the end of the project we want you to find sources connected to all questions on our calculator and to get your help building a mathematical equation (excel formula which does not need to be exact but close) connected to the carbon footprint sources/facts. Our product is nearly ready but we need environmental sciences/sustainability educated student to help us complete our product and also contribute ideas (backed with stats and mathematics).

The Green Career Centre’s mission is to prepare youth, BIPOC and newcomers for green careers. In order to secure the future we need for a just, inclusive and prosperous future we have to work directly with underserved communities that are impacted by the climate crisis. With a climate justice lens and through ongoing consultations and focus groups, the Green Career Centre bridges the disconnect between these underserved communities and green careers in sustainability. We offer resources, events, and a strong network of support in order to integrate underserved communities into the green labour market in what is currently Canada.

Public Relations & Partnerships Intern

PROJECT DESCRIPTION/DESCRIPTION DU PROJET: Students for the project: 1 Hours per student: 80 Sustainable Life App is seeking a Public Relations & Strategic Partnerships student intern who wants to help us create public awareness about our soon to launch Thinkific course "How to Live & Shop Sustainably"! Are you an eco-conscious consumer OR someone who wants to learn how to consume more sustainably? Why Eco-Conscious you might wonder? Because we live and breathe sustainable living & consumption and want our social media team to share similar values! We have the capacity to bring aboard 1 student who will help us spread the word about our course by: 1. Writing a couple of press releases about the course (a couple of different media angles for sharing) 2. Email the press release to media far and wide 3. Search for influencers whose values align with our platform + reach out to these influencers on behalf of the app seeking a strategic partnership

Sustainability User Experience Analyst - LEVEL UP

Positions available: 1 Working 80 hours paid by the Riipen LevelUP project We need to bring aboard a User Experience Analyst with journalistic integrity who can help us: Test our upcoming Carbon Footprint calculator with users of all ages for feeback. Additionally we need this analyst to test all functions of our app to find bugs and the various application forms and business owner dashboard on our website to discover bugs that need fixing. Our product is nearly ready but we need environmental sciences/sustainability educated student to help us complete our product and also contribute ideas to help us improve.
