Email Marketing Campaign
Our company advertises thousands of products online. We hope to revamp our email marketing to attract more customers. We would like to work with students to design a new email marketing campaign for our company. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our company’s products, email marketing campaign goals and target market. Identifying types of emails and content that our company should send out such as welcome emails, newsletters, and re-engagement emails. Researching factors affecting the effectiveness of email marketing such as when emails are sent and making recommendations. Identifying metrics to monitor throughout the campaign. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Identifying ways to personalize emails for customers based on market segmentation.
Comprehensive Brand Refresh and Visual Identity Overhaul
The primary goal of this project is to undertake a comprehensive brand refresh for Small Business Big Plans coaching business. The objective is to elevate and sophisticate the brand, aligning it with high-tier offerings while honouring the vital role of mothers. The refreshed brand should strike a balance between approachability and aspiration, creating a cohesive and visually stunning identity. The current brand may not fully reflect the high-tier offerings of Small Business Big Plans and may lack the aspirational and approachable elements necessary for connection with the target audience. The outcome sought is a brand that not only communicates the business's elevated status but also resonates with mothers, conveying a sense of understanding, support, and aspiration. The goal is to have a brand that attracts, engages, and retains the desired clientele while maintaining a strong connection to the core values of motherhood.
Blog Post Creation and Optimization Project for Small Business for Moms
The primary goal of the Small Business Big Plans (SBBP) Blog Post Creation and Optimization Project is to leverage existing content from emails and Instagram posts to craft engaging and SEO-optimized blog posts. The project aims to repurpose valuable insights and information shared through emails and captions, transforming them into comprehensive blog content. By doing so, the objective is to enhance the online presence of Small Business Big Plans, attract a wider audience, and provide valuable resources for small business owners. Students will write blog posts in a Google doc for approval, and then post them on our Wordpress site. Students will use the existing plugin YoastSEO to ensure the blog post is SEO optimized (detailed instructions will be provided). Additionally, the student will provide editable Canva documents of the graphics to accompany the posts. Small business owners often miss out on valuable insights and advice shared through emails and Instagram captions due to the transient nature of these platforms. The outcome expected from this project is to bridge this gap by transforming that ephemeral content into evergreen blog posts. Students will be solving the challenge of content accessibility, making crucial information readily available on the SBBP blog. The expected outcome is an enriched blog with SEO-optimized posts that attract and engage a broader audience while providing lasting value to small business owners.
