Grocery Store Database UX/UI
Main Objective To design and create a UX/UI prototype for the Youdle Grocery Database that allows users to easily search for and locate local grocery stores from a comprehensive list, enhancing accessibility and user experience. Project Goal The goal of this project is to develop a visually intuitive and user-friendly prototype that focuses on the following core functionalities: Search for Local Grocery Stores : Enable users to search for stores by name, location, or category (e.g., organic, ethnic, small business). View Store Details : Provide key information about each store, such as address, contact details, store type, and hours of operation. Mapping and Navigation : Integrate map-based visuals to allow users to see store locations relative to their current or specified location. Save Favorites : Allow users to bookmark stores for easy access in future searches. Tasks and Activities To develop the prototype, the following tasks and activities will be undertaken: 1. Research Phase Task 1.1 : Conduct research on user preferences and challenges in locating local grocery stores. Task 1.2 : Benchmark existing platforms and analyze features commonly used in store-locating tools. Deliverable : A research document summarizing user needs and market insights. 2. Define User Stories and Personas Task 2.1 : Identify key user stories, such as “As a user, I want to search for a grocery store by location to plan my visit efficiently.” Task 2.2 : Create user personas representing various shoppers, such as urban users, rural users, and tech-savvy customers. Deliverable : User stories and persona profiles. 3. Wireframing Task 3.1 : Develop low-fidelity wireframes for core functionalities: Search bar with filters for location and store type. Store list layout with details like name, address, and operational hours. Interactive map showing store locations. Deliverable : Low-fidelity wireframes for user flow and interface. 4. High-Fidelity Prototype Development Task 4.1 : Create a high-fidelity prototype with a clean, branded design. Task 4.2 : Add interactive features to simulate user flows, such as searching, viewing store details, and accessing the map. Deliverable : A clickable high-fidelity prototype. 5. Usability Testing Task 5.1 : Conduct usability testing sessions to evaluate the effectiveness of the search and store-listing features. Task 5.2 : Collect feedback on the prototype's intuitiveness, design, and navigation. Deliverable : Usability testing report with key findings and recommendations. 6. Final Delivery Task 6.1 : Implement feedback from usability testing and refine the prototype. Task 6.2 : Prepare a presentation summarizing the prototype's design, features, and usability testing insights. Deliverable : Finalized UX/UI prototype and a presentation slide deck.

Youdle Community Board UX/UI Prototype
The main objective of this project is to design and develop a user-friendly UX/UI prototype for the Youdle Community Board. This board will serve as a collaborative platform for grocers, shoppers, and emergency management professionals to share real-time grocery inventory insights, supply chain updates, and community-focused resources. The goal is to create an intuitive and visually appealing interface that aligns with Youdle's mission of enhancing accessibility, usability, and engagement for its end users. Tasks and Activities Learners Will Engage In User Research Conduct interviews or surveys with target users (grocers, shoppers, emergency management professionals). Analyze user needs, pain points, and behaviors. Develop user personas and journey maps to guide the design. Competitor Analysis Review and analyze similar platforms or community boards for inspiration and feature benchmarking. Wireframing and Prototyping Create low-fidelity wireframes to conceptualize the layout and flow of the community board. Develop mid- to high-fidelity prototypes using tools like Figma or Adobe XD. Design Iterations Gather feedback through user testing sessions. Make iterative improvements based on usability findings and stakeholder feedback. Visual Design Develop a style guide, including color schemes, typography, icons, and imagery that reflect Youdle’s branding. Design a visually cohesive interface. Presentation of Final Design Prepare and present the final prototype to Youdle stakeholders, highlighting how it addresses user needs and aligns with the project objectives. Project Goal To deliver a functional UX/UI prototype for the Youdle Community Board that facilitates seamless interaction between grocers, shoppers, and emergency professionals, enabling real-time information sharing and collaboration. What Learners Are Expected to Complete Tasks : User research deliverables (user personas, journey maps). Competitor analysis report. Low-fidelity wireframes. High-fidelity interactive prototype. Style guide and branding materials. Usability testing report. Final presentation. Deliverables : A detailed market analysis report summarizing user research and competitor analysis. Wireframes that outline the structure and functionality of the community board. A polished interactive prototype demonstrating key features of the board. A style guide for consistent visual design. A usability testing report summarizing findings and proposed changes. A comprehensive presentation that communicates the design process, outcomes, and the prototype’s potential impact.

Springboard UI/UX Design Project
The main goal of this project is to design an intuitive and user-centric dashboard for Youdle that empowers local grocers by providing them with actionable insights and tools to enhance product discovery, inventory management, understand market trends, and engage more effectively with customers. The UX/UI design will focus on developing a high-quality MVP (Minimum Viable Product) that integrates seamlessly with Square POS and inventory systems, offering a comprehensive suite of features tailored to the unique needs of grocers.

Mobile Platform Redesign for Youdle
Youdle seeks to transform its existing desktop platform into a mobile-friendly version that caters to the growing number of users accessing services via mobile devices. The primary challenge is to adapt the platform for smaller screens while maintaining the core functionalities and enhancing the user experience. This involves optimizing the interface for touch interactions and ensuring compliance with mobile usability standards. The project aims to streamline navigation, improve functionality, and ensure full responsiveness across various mobile devices. By focusing on these aspects, the redesigned platform will provide a seamless and intuitive experience for mobile users, retaining all essential features of the desktop version.
