Number of Individual Positions Available: 1 Naz Music Inc. is a Canadian Publishing-Label located in Vancouver BC, we specialize in publishing instrumental music of all genres for Distribution as well as placement as background Music in TV & Film. We have within our ranks, a 90-year Symphonic Composer who notates by hand – a very beautiful thing to see. However, industry evolved over the last 5-years and we now deliver music scores digitally for the most part. My Symphonic Composer has ten 3-4 Movement Scores to be transferred, and most are fully orchestrated, with 2 that still need to be orchestrated. The Student(s) awarded this project, would have full access to the Composer for consultation and we are willing to give credit on the published score, to the student (or group of students) who work on the transfer to digital. Naz Music is participating in various Funding Grants, so we are pleased to be able to offer a Stipend to the successful Student(s).

Project Scope We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will: Write blog articles, email newsletters/sequences, and other content pieces on assigned topics Receive a brief with completed keyword research, along with other instructions, and produce content based on this brief Ability to write content for all levels (From children to experienced users) Get a better understanding of how to create engaging content, write good headlines and meta descriptions, describing the produced content Get an understanding of requirements surrounding writing a compelling and catchy title, description, and content creation, the value of a good title, the importance of a well-written meta description, and the quality of the written content from a reading perspective Get a basic understanding of how SEO works, the impact it has on google rankings. Review, edit, re-write existing content that’s been identified as needing revisions. Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools. Positions available: 10 We are looking to bring on a Grant Writing Intern to assist us with completing our proposals. Based on our goals, we are looking for the student to work on the following: Help write grant applications Ensure we meet the grant's requirements Create any other documents required Grant research: Research companies/organizations that have previously provided grants/donations to organizations in our space Write up grant drafts, and RFPs (Requests for proposals) Respond to funder’s questions about the grant proposal and develop relationships with prospective donors If you're willing and open to work with us, we want to hear from you!!
CCV Major Mapper (Phase 1)
Positions Available: 1 (PHASE 1) The Centre for Career and Vocation is seeking student workers to begin the first phase of systematically examining CMU degrees and connecting them to future career pathways. This projects aims to help answer the question "What can I do with this degree?" The overall goal of this project will be the final creation of program specific documents outlining career pathways, resources and action steps to achieving particular career goals through each specific major. As the first phase of this project, this role will be largely research based. As such, this project tasks will primarily include: Collect and consolidate all existing resources at CMU that support career paths and degree programs (This will require cross-departmental gathering of information). Synthesize these resources into a coherent document package, and assess what content is coherent and effective, and what gaps currently exist. Research career development pathways for all degree programs offered through CMU. What could a student with each major do with their degree upon graduation? What steps are required of them during their undergrad to make those options a reality? Beginning with our largest programs, storyboard and create documents that outline various career pathways (as time permits). Key skills and experiences: ability to synthesize large quantities of information and think creatively about connections, project management and organizational skills, and excellent communication skills with visual acumen

As the second phase of this project, this role will be focus on continuing research and moving towards resource creation. As such, this project will primarily include: Research career development pathways for all degree programs offered through CMU. What could a student with each major do with their degree upon graduation? What steps are required of them during their undergrad to make those options a reality? Beginning with our largest programs, create documents that outline various career pathways. By the end of this project, we hope to have fully formed documents for 3 Degree programs. Think creatively and develop prototypes about how to provide this information to the student body, through visual infographics, social media, or via LMS (Moodle). Key skills and experiences: ability to synthesize large quantities of information and think creatively about connections, project management and organizational skills, and excellent communication skills with visual acumen
