Athlete Support Resources

In order to be in top physical shape for competitive sports such as synchronized skating, athletes need to develop their technical skills while also caring for their mental health and nutritional needs. We would like to work with students to create free support resources for athletes and coaches - including but not limited to synchronized skaters, coaches, and parents. We would like these resources to focus on areas such as: Eating Disorders and healthy eating, and/or Sport Psychology and mental health.

Digital Media and Marketing Assistant

We’re looking for a student to help us source, curate, develop, and post the content implementing strategies to increase awareness and nurture engagement within our community. We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. The goal of this content is to grow the OneTeamMVMT community by posting content that educates and entertains.

Seminar Event Planning & Delivery Project

Our not-for-profit organization has been successfully running camps to develop the sport of synchronized skating since 2018, with the ultimate goal of getting the sport into the Winter Olympic Games. After running 11 successful development camps across Canada and internationally, we are looking for assistance in organizing events for the summer of 2024.

Awareness/Promotional Video Creation

Our organization is passionate about encouraging girls and youth in sport, particularly, to learn about and participate in synchronized skating; a sport that blends artistry and athleticism, in a team environment.We would like to collaborate with students to create an awareness video, to assist in the Olympic Goal for Synchronized skating, by popularizing the sport and bringing more attention to its existence.This will involve several different steps for the students, including:Familiarizing themselves with the social cause, our mission and goals.Recording and utilizing existing footage to create impactful videos for social mediaFinding and applying suitable background music.Adding text, transitions, and overlays to the video.Bonus steps in the process would also include:Presenting the video and making edits based on feedback.Recommending ideas and editing tools for future awareness videos.
