Virtual Internship: SUPPLY CHAIN AND OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT

Benefits to your company Students in the Business Administration – Supply Chain and Operations Management advanced diploma program are prepared to perform market forecasting, demand management, production planning and other functions in supply chain management, more specifically: logistics, transportation, warehousing, exporting, procurement, planning and forecasting. * Students are available between May 19th -August 14th and require a total of 360 hours.

*EMPLOYERS MUST BE ONTARIO-BASED FOR ELIGIBILITY* This program is supported by the Career Ready Fund which is intended to support the automotive sector. Eligible employers will be provided with $3,000 per student/recent alumni hired. In this course, students will engage in an applied project of your choosing to design and fabricate prototypes by using digital manufacturing technology (lasers, 3D printer, multi-axis CNC machine tools) over the course of 15 weeks. The program will integrate precision machining methods with advanced computer-controlled machine technology (CNC) in state-of-the-art Precision Machining, CAD/CAM, CNC, Research, and Welding Labs and the students will come prepared to tackle the challenge provided.

Special Event Management Students have the skills and knowledge to: -coordinate pre-event details -create and implement volunteer plans -create and implement sponsorship programs -design food and beverage programs for events -coordinate audio visual requirements for exams -coordinate with all event suppliers -risk/crisis management plans -coordinate rentals -research and procure entertainment -develop and handle budgets -develop and implement feedback surveys -venue site selection -students have the following certifications: CPR/First Aid, Smartserve, Food Safety
