In this Riipen project, my employer, who was my instructor for a previous course, was very helpful and responsive to all of my questions and concerns. She ensured that I would always have two lines of communication at any given time in case something were to go wrong. I felt comfortable working on her project, and I learned many new skills, which I am excited to apply to other laboratory positions!
