CRM Security Model

Our agency is deploying a new CRM system and requires a security model to protect our data’s integrity and privacy, as well as support efficient data access and use. We seek to combine role-based security, record-level security and field-level security to define the overall security rights of users within our system.The project:The candidate or team will create a security model that organizes users by roles and responsibilities (or tasks performed) and accompanying sets of privileges/access. These privileges by role must be predefined, with aggregates related to sets of users simplifying security management.Deliverables:Categorize users by role, in order to restrict access based on those rolesProvide users with the access to the appropriate types of information required to do their jobs (while preventing user access to records they do not own or share)Support data sharing so that users and/or teams can be granted access to protected records for a specified collaborative effort
