Graduate Research Assistant - The Jean Monnet Network on Transatlantic Trade Politics

Working for the Centre for European Studies (CES), a research centre in Carleton University, that focuses on the political and economic aspect and history of Europe. The CES particularly focuses on the European Union.

Responsible for updating the CETA Ratification Tracker Website concerning current dialogues on the ratification of CETA, the trade relations between Canada and the European Union.

Research and closely track the member states that has not yet ratified CETA (currently, there are 10 member states that has not yet ratified).

Looking at different websites, newspaper outlets (local and international), and public contestation on CETA.

• Evaluated published research essays concerning Macroprudential policy issues that investigates the impact of different financial indicators, specifically vulnerability measures.
• Used Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and other software tools to create documents and other communications.
• Planned, modified, and executed research techniques, procedures and tests.
• Developed macros, special formulas, and other actions to produce reliable and consistent statistical reviews.
• Gathered, arranged, and corrected research data to create representative graphs and charts (quarterly and annually)
• Generated data models and performed data analysis that helped produce reports in outlining results.
• Developed fact sheets, graphs, and tables to analyze and summarize survey data.
Demonstrated strong writing skills to generate original correspondence and reports.
