My experience working with the employers of Social Media Engagement Boost for Loohoo as part of Level UP in February 2025 was both insightful and rewarding. Throughout the project, I had the opportunity to develop and apply my social media skills in a professional setting, focusing on boosting engagement and optimizing content strategies for Loohoo. The employers were supportive, communicative, and provided clear expectations, which made it easy to align my work with the brand’s objectives. Their feedback was constructive and valuable, allowing me to refine my approach to content creation and engagement tactics. One of the highlights of this experience was the collaborative environment—the team was open to new ideas and provided helpful insights that enhanced my ability to analyze social media performance. Overall, this experience helped me level up my skills in social media strategy, content creation, and audience engagement. Working with Loohoo's founder, Lindsay Duong, was an inspiring and uplifting experience. Lindsay's vision for Loohoo as a shopping destination and a community center is inspiring. She is very dedicated to making Loohoo a place of empowerment, creativity, and inclusivity, and her enthusiasm made each meeting lively and collaborative. The guidance she provided for the project provided me with a sense not just of the business side of things, but also of the customer- and community-centered mindset that Loohoo has. Her dedication to supporting women-owned businesses and fostering a friendly, pleasant atmosphere really stands out. I learned so much about the importance of community events and how impactful they can be in building long-term customer relationships. All in all, it was a pleasure to support Loohoo's PR and community engagement strategy, and I am excited to see how the brand goes on to grow and evolve.
