Looking to elevate your organization, and bring it to the next level? Bring on learners from Drew University to be your learner-consultants, in a project-based experience. Learners will work on one main project over the experience of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. In this program, learners delve into the intricate relationship between psychological factors and physical well-being. They will explore a range of issues, including health-promoting and health-compromising behaviors, patient-provider interactions, the role of psychology in healthcare service utilization, resilience, and coping strategies for stress, pain, and chronic diseases. The course also covers the field of psychoneuroimmunology, which examines the interactions between the mind and the immune system. Our Ideal Partner: We are looking for business owners who are passionate about collaborating with students to advance public health and psychology. Ideal projects come with a clear business problem statement in the realm of psychological health. These projects can be research-focused, task-focused, or a combination of both. We encourage employers to be open to negotiating the project scope, as adaptability is key to a successful collaboration.
