Digital Marketer

The Digital Marketing intern will be engaged in increasing traffic to the Youth In Politics website and social media platforms. This will include content creation, business automation as well as search engine optimization. The intern will also be involved in running advertisements / digital marketing campaigns and analyzing results to ensure the most effective techniques are being carried out.Based on our goals, we are looking for the student to complete 80 hours of work on the following tasks:Analyzing website traffic/insightsResearch and implement SEO and marketing strategies.Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion testsMeasure and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns and make necessary alterationsCreate content for our social media platforms

Digital Content Creation

Redesign an Internal HR System / Process

As our organization continues to grow, it is important for us to stay up to date with our tools and processes for employee management. We have a desire to focus specifically on our performance evaluation tool. The goal is for this tool to be interactive, user-friendly and relevant to our staff to assist with adoption.We want to use this opportunity to create a preliminary redesign of this tool to ensure targets, goals and performance issues are being documented and called upon. Through this collaboration, we would like to develop a plan that addresses these key areas:The needs and challenges of effective performance management/evaluationDiversity and inclusion audits to help us better preform in the workforceResearch and identify performance management options available that might suit the needs of our teamA rollout/pilot plan that identifying what our team needs to consider in adopting a new tool

Digital Content Creation

We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. Our non-profit Organization currently has no social media presence. We would like our content creators to give us a solid standing on various media platforms like Instagram, Twitter and Tiktok.
