I grew up alpine ski racing at a highly competitive level, so athletics and health are rooted in everything I do. Most of my career experience stems from consumer package goods, which I recently left to realign with my passion around health. Over the past couple of years, I formulated a high performance team and we developed an app, aimed at helping people with dietary restrictions find more nutritious food with ease. The idea came to me through my own struggles with being gluten intolerant and going through the pain staking task of finding the right foods and then trying to understand if everything I was buying on a regular basis was actually a healthier choice. Our team takes on the challenge of streamlining the decision making process while debunking greenwashing along the way (just because it's gluten free doesn't mean its healthier).

Digital Content Creation - Food Nutrition
Tinga is a start-up in meal planning & nutrition within the grocery sector. We aren't a diet app and calorie counting just isn't our thing. We believe in what nutritious foods we make available within our home and build from there. We leverage tech to unlock the power of food while helping to create balance between convenience and fresh whole foods. Education connects the dots between consumer awareness, trust and myth debunking. We take a holistic view of consumers intended purchases and guide them to more nutritious options. Using Canada's health food guide as a starting point, we are looking to create content (including 'how to" videos) that aligns with our purpose. Content will be posted within our app, supporting users along their healthy eating journey. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of their requirements. UX/UI Re-design of Webpage
We’re looking for cutting edge and creative UX/UI talent who are motivated by making things better! We’d love to see what you could do with [www.tinga.ca] our current website. Our app is taking a very creative approach to helping people with dietary constraints eat healthier, put yourself in the shoes of a user experience designer working for our company, and give this page a complete refresh. For us, user engagement is primarily going to come through web and SEO, the app store will hold less importance.If you were redesigning this page to increase awareness, engagement, trust, app trial, app conversion, and overall visual appeal - what would you change? This can include adding or removing elements from the page, adding interactive or animated features, changing the customer journey from this page and directly to our app, and/or completely redesigning the look and feel.
Tutorials for Mobile App
We would like students to help in creating content that aligns with Tinga's vision and brand. We will provide direction to ensure students have a clear understanding of what these elements are for our apps vision.This task is probably one of our most important in helping Tinga reach ultimate success with its users. The main goal of this project is to create promotional video tutorials for our app. We need a students to capture, edit and create video tutorials on how our core features work. Videos should be short and to the point so users can quickly grasp functionality and enjoy the many benefits Tinga has to offer.We will provide sound guidance and support to all students.
