PROJECT SCOPEWe are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Digital Content Creator/ SEO Intern to support our marketing team. The main responsibilities are copy-writing the website, writing blog posts and updating social media. This is a position for the right individual who wants to learn what it takes to reach the next level in writing, marketing and/or journalism.During this internship, you will learn Shopify and SEO. You will have access to our marketing team, who will communicate regularly with you and provide all the information and clarification needed.The intern should be prepared to:Assist in the building the brand and actively participate in the creation and execution of marketing campaignsSupports the Marketing team by creating and contributing content to the websiteResearching and developing content on topics covering fitness, workout products, health and wellness blog postsDevelop proposals for potential marketing initiatives and other programsBuilding campaigns to generate business leads through email, digital ads, social media etc.Develop and implement a strategy to meet SEO goalsOther responsibilities as requiredOur Focus: SEO strategy and Implementing improvements to our new shopify site. (www.propsathletics.ca, www.propsathletics.com)We want to be found by people all over and the world and ideally be at the top on the first page of Google. We need to focus on improving our SEO ranking so that we generate more traffic and in revenue through search engines.Students should be prepared to:Complete an SEO analysis on our websiteConduct competitive keyword researchUpdate our website with the best structure and elements for SEO. (provide content suggestions and recommendation to increase search visibility, increase our inbound traffic and optimize the customer journey, increase inbound leads) Develop an on-page and off-page SEO plan.Identify key metrics to track for success.Write content for the website Search engine optimization (SEO):Complete an analysis of our web properties SEO status based on current best practices and optimization for search engines.Provide reports of high traffic pages based on keyword results and opportunities for pages that have potential of higher traffic with optimization.Determine which pages could be optimized for snippets, link building and other organic approaches to driving more traffic to our website(s). Need to ensure all images have descriptive tags.Social & Digital marketing audit across all channels and platforms, analysis of paid and earned media, review and implementation of automated flows for retargeting consumer base. Producing continual reports and guiding AB testing to assist our brand to implement best practices and relevant industry improvements to our site and operations with the omnipresent goal of reaching wider audiences, conversion and retention.- SEO (discussed above; technical, website content & internal/external linking)-Paid Search (google, amazon, etc)-Free & Paid Social (instagram & Facebook) -email- site flow, heat maps, UX and UI suggestions) Other duties the student may complete could include: (indicate other duties as exemplified below)Assist with outbound email marketing campaigns as needed; measure and report on performance of these campaigns using tools such as (indicate tools used, eg. INFLUENCER REACHOUT & PR MARKETING, COPYWRITING

FOCUS ON:Public Relations - Develop and implement a PR strategy; create collateral, including press releases, user testimonials, case studies, and customer stories. Help us effectively communicate our brand's story and mission to a broad audience.Props Athletics is looking for someone(s) who is creative, hands-on and organized with a keen eye for detail and has a passion for PR, with strong writing, editorial and interpersonal skills· must be able to write Press releases for different editors and new-worthy stories· Passion for fitness, health and wellness and understands the power of using social media to reach out to people and engage with influencers,· Reach out to different press publications and editors, identify media outlets that are most beneficial to us/most likely to pick up a story about our Brand and/or Female Founder· Send press releases and establish positive rapport with media contact· Secure media exposure for our organization.Influencer reach out and messaging- building a list of influencers from youtube, instagram and facebook- direct messaging them and building relationships to get more exposure and followers for PROPS, ideally leading to more online traffic and sales- sending them product to help promote the brand (organizing post, partnerships and giveaways) - focus on influencer marketing, work together to produce content such as online workoutsDuties: · assist in PR campaign involving, fitness and fashion influencer, and international press· Reach out to Digital and Print Publications and build rapport with editors (already some great press and extensive list of ppl/outlets we need to follow up with)· Manage all follow up with editors and press call ins· Maintaining record of all Press features and sharing with Marketing & Content department, as well as ensuring that it is shared on the E-commerce Site· Collaborate with Marketing for influencers and micro-influencers outreach and build content through partnerships (focus right now on at Home Workouts and product give away to gain followers and sales)· Manager influencer relations through social media (instagram youtube, facebook, pinterest and linkedin)· Expand on the celebrities, influencers and media who aren’t know about PROPS (Madonna, Shakira, Oprah, dragon den’s etc)Other objectives include help with: Branding - Conduct a full competitive landscape assessment; define our organization's brand and core value proposition; identify opportunities and threats facing our brand; assess where and how to improve our brand's presence and differentiate from our competitors.Marketing Communications - Help us improve our brand's presence and capture greater market share.
