Smart Sourcing: Category Analysis and Supplier Evaluation
OM/EM371
Take your organization to the next level with student-consultants from Clarkson University! Our project-based experience allows students to work on a main project throughout the semester, connecting with you through virtual communication tools as needed. These students have in-depth knowledge of supply and demand processes, enabling them to conduct a category analysis of purchases/spending. This analysis covers short- and long-term availability and costs for the category. Additionally, they excel in supplier evaluation and selection, creating suitable metrics based on criteria such as financial health, cost, quality, delivery, innovation, and best practices. The result? A comprehensive evaluation of vendors and a top alternative recommendation.
