Virtual Internship Opportunity: Social Media & Public Relations for Youth Sports

United States Youth Volleyball League (USYVL) is able to offer a virtual internship opportunity for 1 marketing student.The primary focus for the student will be: Public Relations - Develop and implement a PR strategy; create collateral, including press releases, user testimonials, case studies, and customer stories.Strategic Social Media Marketing - Conduct an audit of our current social media presence and/or other current communication channels; develop and implement strategies for improving our online presence and increasing engagement; create a content calendar; creating useable social media and blog posts. Our goal at the end of this experience is: Public Relations - For the student to help us effectively communicate our brand's story and mission to a broad audience.Strategic Social Media Marketing - For the student to help us improve our online presence, reach more customers, and effectively promote our brand through compelling content.Other duties the student may complete could include: Content development, including social posts, blog posts, and website copy.Assist with outbound email marketing campaigns as needed; measure and report on performance of these campaigns using tools such as Excel.Create promotional and written materials.Create marketing content including design and copy.Manage USYVL social media presence on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.We will plan to communicate with our virtual intern using these communication tools: OutlookRiipen messagingPrimary contact: Veronica Sanchez, Director of Programs

Virtual Internship - Assistant Program Coordinator

Due to Covid-19, our programs have been limited to skill development for groups of 10-12 players run by a handful of staff. We are working with 1 Program Coordinator, 1 Registration/Admin. Asst. and 1 Program Director. We have an opportunity for someone to get some hands-on experience as we plan our Spring 2021 season. We would like someone to assist in the preparation of 68 programs in multiple states including applying for permits, updating staff with permit changes and Covid-19 requirements.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Obtain facility permits and insurance.Recruit Volunteer Site Directors and hire Clinicians.Recruit Volunteer Coaches.Reports to Program Manager, providing weekly status updates.Obtain school district and private school flyer approvals.Maintain accurate site information.Create forms and reports as needed.ยท Other duties may be assigned.
