My work with the Starfish was amazing! I've been volunteering with the Starfish for a while now, but it was such a cool experience to have this internship to get more in-depth experience and writing practice, especially on such an important topic. The team was very supportive and encouraging, making the process as smooth as possible.

It was a joy and a pleasure to work with both Aish Ravi Shankar (Editorial Program Manager) and Micaela Yawney (Editor-in-Chief). Writing feature articles for The Starfish Canada's Community Spotlight Series gave me an opportunity to grow as both a writer and an editor. All of my supervisors and colleagues for this project were kind, supportive, and inspiring. I look forward to continuing to contribute articles to The Starfish Canada's Youth Journal, and I hope to have chances to work with this incredible team in an interning capacity again in the future. Thank you so much for the amazing work you do!
