Virtual Internship: CRM Outreach and Business Development

BACKGROUND During the COVID-19 crisis we have received a lot of interest from emergency teams like ambulances (EMS), fire departments, and hospitals regarding our software. Many of these organizations have become customers but many more are still in the research/comparison phase. In our industry, it's very important to follow up properly with these leads and work to move them towards our solution. It often takes several conversations/demos before the customer is ready to sign up. The student(s) selected for this internship will take ownership of a small number of these prospective customers and set a schedule to follow up with them in whichever way is most effective (email, LinkedIn, etc). The role of the student is not to sell our solution but rather to guide the customer towards scheduling the next call/demo with our team or to re-engage in other ways. TASKS The primary goal of the student will be to guide prospective customers to engage either by scheduling appointments with our team or by letting us know their current status/concerns/questions, etc. To do effective outreach for B2B customers, the student will be required to perform several activities (Training and guidance will be provided) Learn about the basics of CyberStockroom's product/offering to be able to speak intelligently about it Research the prospect's business to gain a better understanding of their needs and the fit with our solution Review the previous communications/calls/demos with the prospect in order to have context in taking the next step Set a schedule to personally reach out to each of the prospects Connect with the prospects via Email, LinkedIn, or any other relevant channel Register all activity in our CRM system (PipeDrive), including all questions/issues/comments Guide the prospects to book calls/demos MENTORSHIP & TOOLS Students will be given training and guidance on our process and the tools that we use. Each student will be given a dedicated Gmail account (for outreach), as well as a PipeDrive account (for CRM). Internal communication will be carried out over Slack. We may use various other tools as needed. The students will also be encouraged to attend calls/demos that are scheduled as a result of their efforts. This will give them a front row seat to the entire sales cycle in B2B software. WHY SHOULD I WORK FOR CYBERSTOCKROOM?
