Entrepreneurial Internship - Product and Strategic Planning
Katamundi is a social impact movement for K-6th graders looking to make a positive difference in the world through service-learning and volunteerism. We are launching our social impact network as a mobile-optimized web app in early Fall. We are offering an Entrepreneurial Internship program that will highlight product development and strategic planning efforts. Below are sample projects an Entrepreneurial Product and Strategic Planning Intern may work on: STRATEGIC PLANNING: Analyze the cost, benefits, and process of organizing into a non-profit, fiscal sponsorship, social b-corp, and c-corp. STRATEGIC PLANNING: Evaluate business model opportunities, identifying which revenue source(s) to pursue, what value to offer, how to price the value, and who pays for the value. STRATEGIC PLANNING: Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks. Recommend a plan and schedule to periodically survey and analyze KPIs. PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT: Research and evaluate relevant gamification features, user-generated content features, and other user retention strategies that aim to optimize user engagement. PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT: Analyze customer satisfaction of user experience and evaluate using a SWOT (strength, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) analysis framework.
Digital Content Creation
3 individual positions available We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. We are looking to provide value for our followers and e-mail subscribers. Given that our products are mainly suited for pet owners, we need to create content related to pet ownership and pets in general. To accomplish this, we expect the students will: Write blog articles, email newsletters/sequences and other content pieces on assigned topicsAssist with a social media video launch to promote our organizationEvaluate recent successful user-generated campaigns, preferably in our sectorIdentify media outlets that are most beneficial to share our story Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools. If you like the sound of our culture, and are ready to tackle this challenge with us, then we'd love to hear from you. A student or team with excellent writing and video skills would be the ideal candidate for this project.
Brand Identity and Graphic Design
Number of individual students required: 1 or 2 Our organization needs some branding and graphic design help! We are looking for people that can help amplify what makes us unique and create better messaging for our brand. This would include identifying areas of improvement and developing a plan for better promotion and brand awareness. This project may combine research, data analysis, graphic design w/ Sketch or Adobe XD, prototyping, one-page creations and more! We believe this project will require: Research to define our unique brand position and create consistent promotional messaging Logo and/or Name Proposal that highlights brand awareness and brand positioning A branding guide Design prototypes that can be implemented into our marketing collateral Videos - promotional videos to post on social media channels

Team should comprise of 3 to 5 students. Our company’s luxury décor brand is looking to convey its unique visual aesthetics through storytelling. “Your home’s not a place, it’s a feeling”. Through engaging storytelling via photos and videos, we want to convey the value of having a home with a serene, elegant vibe, and in doing so inspire our customers to recreate the same feel in their own homes. Our brand is defined by: Generously offering visually pleasing aesthetics and home décor inspiration A subtle yet enticing sense of elegance and minimalism A coherent look-and-feel consistent with the brand guidance aesthetics A luxurious feel We currently carry small pampas grass accents, and are in the process of launching other brand-coherent products, including large pampas grass, nordic vases, bath pillows, and more.
