Planskip was a great company to deal with and the project was extremely fun. You can tell they are passionate about what they do although the work load was a little heavy.

This project was both engaging and fun to complete - instructions were easy enough to follow and the file drive management made it easy to upload completed work. Being able to manage my own time allowed me to space out the work required for this project as my schedule permitted. Working with planksip had me engaging more with philosophical ideologies and the work of Plato as well, which was positive academic learning. Overall a great experience!

Unlike other LevelUp projects, Planksip allows one to write creative works, collaborate with fellow creatives, and improve project management skills. He provided helpful resources to help me get started, by way of a video conversation with a team member. He was available for any questions that came up and always responded quickly. Daniel and Serdar helped me trouble-shoot via a video call. Serdar also provided me with a helpful resource – a written copy of the recording I was working with. It is obvious that they are passionate about what they do, and excited to hear what I thought and what I was learning about the material I worked on.

This project was an enjoyable and fulfilling experience, allowing me to create eight philosophical covers for a client. Working with Daniel, the founder of Planksip, was an absolute pleasure. This project rekindled my passion for graphic design, a career I had previously abandoned due to a lack of work and an inclusive network. Each cover was meticulously planned and developed through research, mood boarding, and typographical experimentation. I want to extend my gratitude to Riipen, LevelUp, and Telus for this wonderful opportunity, and to Daniel for selecting me as a freelancer for this project. Throughout this experience, I learned various techniques that I can apply in future contracts, which will help me maintain a stable side income while pursuing my day job and university studies to become an art therapist.
