Help Coordinate The Emerging Media Community of Practice
Thaumazo is a nonprofit focused on bringing people together to ideate, create and document projects aimed at the UN Sustainable Development Goals.The Emerging Media Community of Practice (EM CoP) is a University of British Columbia initiative intended to bring together researchers, developers, designers, and educators committed to building a community of practice focused on the development of emerging media technologies for human good.Thaumazo is supporting EM CoP in developing a coordinator role to help build their membership, organize regular meetings of their membership and develop other opportunities for members to share knowledge and ideas, and to collaborate.EM CoP’s work fits under UN SDG 4.4:Quality Education:By 2030, substantially increase the number of youth and adults who have relevant skills, including technical and vocational skills, for employment, decent jobs and entrepreneurship

Haitian Creole Translation of Refugee Applicant Welcome Guide

The goal aims to reduce inequalities within and among countries, including providing safe and legal migration opportunities, protecting refugees, and promoting the social, economic, and political inclusion of all, regardless of their background.

Thaumazo needs branding and graphic design for our project Aid Craft, A collaboration between Thaumazo, Conversa Corps, Peace Geeks, Pure Point International. Aid Craft seeks to assist grassroots humanitarian organizations form and operate safely, responsibly and effectively, and to foster better collaboration between and with existing humanitarian groups.
