Working on the CAYOP grant proposal writing project has been an incredibly rewarding experience, significantly boosting my confidence and refining my research and writing skills. Working with CAYOP opened up possibilities for me to start my own contracting business by teaching me crucial entrepreneurial skills such as strategic planning, market analysis, and client engagement. Collaborating closely with CAYOP improved my teamwork abilities through a strong feedback loop that allowed us to make continuous improvements while achieving high standards. Overall, this transformative journey expanded my skill set far beyond academic tasks, opening up new career opportunities for me.

I am very grateful for the experience I have gathered from working at CAYOP. CAYOP gave me the opportunity to learn the skills needed for marketing and gave me chance to experience what's its like to be work in a company and what tasks what I might need to fulfil as a marketer. The C.E.O of CAYOP, who is my employer is very kind and understanding. He guided me on the work that was given to me and gave me helpful feedback. The main goal for the project is to create a comprehensive scholarship database for CAYOP Inc. This database will serve as a platform for students to access various scholarship opportunities, helping them to find funding for their education. Students will work to compile a list of scholarships, which will be available publicly.

Digital Content Creation

Students creating content for students We would like students to help us with creating content that drives traffic to our website. We are specifically interested in content that engages students and youth (ages 15-30). We will work with the students to outline our specific goals, the lessons we have learned, and the strategy we are currently employing. Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for Cayop, sharing certain posts on our social media accounts, managing a LinkedIn newsletter, and sharing educational/motivational content on social media. Students could also work with our partner organizations to create custom posts and a review of the services delivered by the organization. Youth Opportunities Database

Cayop is determined to connect youth to latest opportunities (non-formal education or employment). This includes internships, hackathons, student competitions, funding for youth initiatives, and conferences/forums. The main goal of this project is to create a database of youth opportunities, in particular opportunities in the area of student competitions, student hackathons, youth conferences/forum, youth council. Cayop already has a large database with opportunities. However, interns will work to refine the list, and build a larger database of opportunities. Training and continuous guidance will be provided.

Funding Proposal Development

The main goal of this project is to develop a proposal for funding that would enable CAYOP to provide free posting for non-profit organizations to share professional development opportunities. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: - Developing the key objectives of the proposal. - Contacting and getting confirmation from organizations to use CAYOP. - Researching other funding sources and potential partners. - Developing a budget for the project. - Writing the proposal and submitting it to potential funders.
