WHO: Grey-box is social innovation startup that is working on providing free wifi access to educational content in areas where internet and electricity access is problematic.WHY: 50% of the world lives offline – they have not connected to the internet in the last 3 months. Even in North America, 50% of rural Canada does not have access to the minimum speed for the internet. We are looking to have students that can analyse customer those interviews and highlight specific user stories that will be used by our IT team and our Marketing team to align their tasks with the customer needs.We will provide the customer interview recording & examples to follow.Highlight key customer needs and storiesQualify the customer with existing personasCreate a series of video excerpts (highlights) that will be used in user storiesPresenting the case studies in our Knowledge Management Software (KMS)Following up with the team to share and improve the documentation and key insights.

We are looking for organized and motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as supportive Office Administrative Assistants.Your primary role will be to assist us with be marketing (scheduling social media posts) and office (any miscellaneous office tasks) in a professional and timely manner.

Digital Marketing /Content Creation

We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:Write blog articles, email newsletters/sequences and other content pieces on assigned topicsAssist with a social media video launch to promote our organizationEvaluate recent successful user-generated campaigns, preferably in our sector identify media outlets that are most beneficial to share our storyGoogle Ads, Facebook Ads, IG Ads set up and testingCampaigns for digital to drive new user acquisitionAffiliated marketing channelsAd sense/ wordpress related tasks.Ultimately, you will be working alongside with the founder to focus on strategy and content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools.If you like the sound of our culture and are ready to tackle this challenge with us, then we'd love to hear from you.A student or team with excellent writing and video skills would be the ideal candidate for this project.

Non-Profit Fundraising - Grant Writing

We are looking for assistance in with fundraising. This primarily includes completing grant applications that support our mission.This project will include:Develop a needs statement that characterizes the community problem and justifies the need for our project and funding.Identify potential sponsors and funding opportunities that are a good fit for our organization and project.Interpreting to the best of your abilities grant calls and application guides, to determine our eligibility and what we can apply for.Improve the clarity and persuasiveness of our non-profit organization's grant proposal writing.
