Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

Our company currently has an extensive network of coffee farmers who we will be servicing through our marketplace platform to facilitate direct trade with coffee roasters in the united states. As we approach our official launch, we would like to begin laying the groundwork to understand the viability, feasibility, and requirements to service other commodities.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?
  • Identify the TAM for each of the agricultural products assigned
  • Identify the current state of the supply chain from farmer to business consumer including current best practices for international freight pertaining to the given commodity
  • identify legal requirements necessary for exporting each commodity to the USA
  • Analyze the current competitive landscape including competitor pricing and service models
  • If deemed viable, perform a more in depth analysis to establish the operational cost of launching a service for the specific commodity that has shown promise
How will you support learners in completing the project?

Uprise will provide any necessary resources to complete these tasks. We can also assign internal staff to support and assist in coordinating with existing teams where questions or expertise are needed. If desired, excellence in this role would pave the way for long term contracting, employment, and equity incentives in the company.
