Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

Clean list of Accounts (Companies, Associations, Groups, etc) affiliated with CFA Society Toronto, in a proper Hierarchical organization with key contacts noted. Facilitate outreach programs and support to our members.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

Review our current list of “Company” records.

1.     Extract all “Company Name” records listed on contact records.

a.     Company Name is a text field where we gather account information for our members.

2.     Ensure all “Company Name” have a corresponding Account(Company) record – where none exists, create them.

a.     Review CRM for an existing Account(Company) record.

i.    If a company not found in a. research companies online to gather company addresses and key contact details i.e. company phone, company email, etc

ii.    Create record for the company.

b.     NB: Many people use short form names for their companies (i.e. RBC vs Royal Bank vs Royal Bank of Canada etc).

3.     Create appropriate hierarchy for records.

a.     Use online resources or connect with companies to confirm correct hierarchy.


Requirements:

Knowledge of CRMs (Dynamics and Salesforce preferred)

Reside in Canada, all work to be completed within Canada

Sign and adhere to NDA

Sign agreement to destroy all files at termination of project and provide attestation once complete

How will you support learners in completing the project?

Work can be completed remotely.

Access will be provided to data and tools required to complete tasks.

Opportunity to meet 1:1 with staff lead.
