- What is the main goal for this project?

Hi, we are a small startup with a working MVP - a web product that aims to help employees navigate through their mental health & wellbeing benefits, to find care quickly and efficiently.
We would like to re-design our MVP, to make it more intuitive and user-friendly.

- What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

- Project Plan- Identify milestones and set a timeline for the project
- Review requirements and existing designs- Familiarize themselves with the existing product to understand the requirements, design work, and feedback that already exists, and to identify gaps to be filled in the next stage.
- Propose a re-design for the existing employee flow + new employer's screens, all will be discussed in the project planning.
- Finalize- Handoff all deliverables and findings in a package that allows for your work to be easily understood and incorporated into future projects.
Deliverables:
- Design Audit- audit the current user flow to identify pain points, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
- Competitive research - analysis of direct or indirect competitors' design strengths and weaknesses, with actionable recommendations
- Prototype- once high fidelity mockups are complete, create a prototype in Figma that can be used to test and validate the designs

- How will you support learners in completing the project?

- Preparation of any relevant resources and assets in advance of the kickoff call
- With a regular weekly check-in call
- Weekly/bi-weekly meetings with the team to discuss the ongoing progress
- Reasonably responsive throughout the collaboration to ensure progress is not blocked.
- We will allow students to share the materials created in this project during their job search - with some restrictions over specific screens and content. We can define those materials together upon finalizing our work.
