Rahil founded his passion for food at a very young age. Born in Gujarat, India he was influenced by the importance of food at his family gatherings. Since, then he has embarked on an impressive culinary journey.
At just 18 years old, Rahil has had the privilege of working with renowned hotels in India while perusing his culinary education and after graduating from Hospitality Management in Edinburgh, Scotland he sought to expand his knowledge and skills. This led him to move and work in Dubai, UAE where he worked at the prestigious Radisson Blu Hotel honing his culinary talent as a young cook and developed himself into a professional chef.
After working in Dubai for almost a decade, Rahil eventually found his new home in Canada thus, commencing his Canadian culinary journey with Ritz Carlton and then at a flagship hotel, Delta Hotel by Marriott’s in Toronto, Ontario. Eager to explore Canadian ingredients and cuisine, he embraced the challenge and moved to the East coast working at Delta Beausejour in Moncton, New Brunswick in 2019. When the pandemic hit in 2020 Rahil seized the opportunity to do restaurant consulting in New Brunswick for small restaurants to help out the local businesses. In 2021, he served as an Executive Chef at one of Moncton’s casual fine dining restaurant “Clos” where they showcased local beautiful products that New Brunswick had to offer making it a one-of-a-kind dining experience highlighting farm to table. Rahil then ventured out to explore the West coast and worked at reputed organizations and now currently working in Edmonton, Alberta at the Expo Centre.
