What is the main goal for this project?
  1. Researching the Brand Identity:
  • Conduct an in-depth analysis of ECS Digital’s values, target audience, and industry trends to inform the development of a unique brand identity.
  1. Logo and Name Proposals:
  • Create and propose logos and names that encapsulate ECS Digital’'s essence, ensuring they are memorable, relevant, and align with our brand values.
  1. Branding Guide Creation:
  • Develop a comprehensive branding guide detailing the use of logos, color schemes, typography, and other visual elements, providing a consistent reference for all marketing materials.
  1. Prototyping with Software Tools:
  • Utilize design software to create prototypes of marketing materials, website design elements, and other brand-related assets.
  1. Competitor Research:
  • Analyze competitors’ branding strategies to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for differentiation.
  1. Creating Custom Branding Sheets:
  • Compile custom branding sheets that include color palettes, logo variations, and typography guidelines to ensure cohesive branding across all platforms.


What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?
  1. Brand Identity Research:
  • Conduct market research to understand the construction industry, environmental compliance, and target audience preferences.
  • Analyze ECS Digital’s mission, values, and unique selling propositions to align the brand identity accordingly.

  1. Logo and Name Development:
  • Brainstorm and design logo concepts and company names that reflect ECS Digital’s core values and offerings.
  • Gather feedback on proposed logos and names from stakeholders and refine based on input.
  1. Branding Guide Creation:
  • Develop a detailed branding guide, including guidelines for logo usage, color palette, typography, imagery, and voice tone.
  • Ensure the guide is clear, comprehensive, and easy to follow for consistent brand representation across all platforms.
  1. Prototype Creation:
  • Use design software tools to create prototypes of marketing materials, such as business cards, letterheads, and digital assets.
  • Develop mockups of website elements and social media profiles incorporating the new branding.
  1. Branding Sheets Compilation:
  • Create custom branding sheets that consolidate key brand elements (colors, logos, typography) for quick reference.
