What is the main goal for this project?

The main goal for the project is to develop a new recommendation system for Sparkline's AI solutions. The system should be able to return products based on a user's previous views or ratings, while also considering products viewed by other similar users. This will involve analyzing the existing dataset, developing a recommendation engine software, optimizing software performance, researching variables that can improve recommendations, and testing the software.


What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

- Understanding of the existing dataset and variables affecting product recommendations


- Identification of areas for software improvement


- Testing of the developed software and making improvements based on data


- All source materials and a written report explaining the design process and outcomes
