Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

We are looking to gather data on how much it costs to run the Chicago Police Department.

The City of Chicago spreads out the costs associated with operating the CPD to different items within the larger CPD budget and we would like better understand this budget.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

Volunteers will work to decipher public budgets and collect data on the use of the city's budget by the CPD.

How will you support learners in completing the project?

Volunteers will work directly with project leads and will be able to use our slack channel to communicate easily with other volunteers/project leads.
